The community members of Igombe and supporters of the centre are happy to see the latest developments. The roof has been completed on the children’s library and IT room. The building has grown to a large size and is now able to house numerous activities at one time. The new section now has to be plastered and the floors need to be finished. Large windows were installed to utilize the wonderful sunny weather and natural light in Uganda. As Justin Kiyimba, the centre’s founder, stood admiring the new sections, he began to share how he can see his dream of a truly modern and equipped resource centre in a rural setting coming to life. He envisioned soon having computers and a vibrant children’s section of the library. The centre has come a long way since its inception and with more support it can continue to be a central location for learning and community development in the area.
